Read the Healthy Skin Diet. I didn’t do the diet in it but it expalins the root of the problem and several methods to eliminate it. Acne is a dietary problem, some of us can’t handle an unhealthy diet and our body can’t filter out the excess hormones leading to excess production of sebum (sp?) which is what these products eliminate. But sebum is excellent for your skin, and if you have dry skin like me then it aggravates the problem tho they’re less painful. Read the book. Best thing I ever did!

proactice does not work! it works while u use it but when ur done and cleared up if u stop using it ur acne comes terrible way worse and rapidly. do not use proactive at all. use the pilled that a dermatogolist i reckon thats the docs title and use the pill they perscripte its called solodyn or somethin like that
u should use olay regenerest microdermabrasion kit. it had reduced my scars a bit so far but it takes a long time. u should look it up. its only $30
yea I’m through with over the counter stuff all it does is chemically hurt your skin. I switched to natural organic remedies.

I’m talking about exfoliating with those sponge pads that are harsh when dry and obviously less harsh when wet and exfoliating over white heads on the face. Thoughts there?
DerekChaunessey: Exfoliating isn’t as approximate as you may reckon.
It depends on the product and how gentle or not YOU exfoliate.
And exfoliating will help with your acne because it will help get rid of the dirt, oil, and gunk that’s trapped inside your pores (it’ll be converted into a pimple).
And your not vacant to rip off any acne since you only need to use it once or twice a week (=

When I exfoliate my arms and shoulders, I use a real sponge. But I don’t like using it for my face because I’m frightened it’s too harsh, so I use exfoliating washes. I’m frightened I’ll rip off acne on my face with an exfoliating pad and it might scar. Any thoughts?
